Aloe Vera

Stimulates fibroblast which produces collagen, and elastin fibers making the skin more flexible and smooth to the touch. It has cohesive effects on the superficial flaking of epidermal cells by sticking them together, which softens the skin. The amino acids also soften hardened skin cells and zinc acts as an astringent to tighten pores. 75 potentially active constituents: vitamins, enzymes, minerals, sugars, lignin, saponins, salicylic acids and amino acids. Vitamins: It contains vitamins A (beta-carotene), C and E, which are antioxidants. It also contains vitamin B12, folic acid, and choline. Aloe contains monosaccharides called alprogen, a potent anti-inflammatory compound. Bradykinase, a mineral in aloe responsible for reducing excessive inflammation, when applied to the skin topically. Aloe provides Glucomannan, a mannose-rich polysaccharide, and gibberellin, a growth hormone, interacts with growth factor receptors on the fibroblast, thereby stimulating its activity and proliferation, which in turn significantly increases collagen synthesis Due to this, it accelerated wound contraction and increased the breaking strength of resulting scar tissue, and increased synthesis of hyaluronic acid.

Beta Glucan

The results showed that beta‐glucan, despite its large molecular size, deeply penetrated the skin into the epidermis and dermis. Beta glucan is a humectant moisturizer that attracts water to the top layers of skin.  Beta Glucan is approved by the FDA and the EU for its skin repair properties. It works by stimulating fibroblasts, and is even used on surgical implants to speed wound healing. It helps stimulate collagen synthesis, for added strength to the dermal matrix, and provides long term moisturization. Beta-glucans even go so far as to fend off encroaching bacteria that could disrupt the skin's barrier. "Beta-glucans work by stimulating the macrophages (they work to fight off invading pathogens that can cause infections) and stimulate other immune cells to attack pathogens," it was verified that macrophages can also stimulate other cells such as keratinocytes and fibroblasts that re-epithelialize the wound and create new blood vessels to the area in need of healing.

Carbomer

Carbomer is a large molecule that has the ability to absorb and retain large amounts of water, enhancing penetration of Peptides.

Ceramide Complex (ceramide NP, ceramide AP, ceramide EOP)

Ceramides make up 50% of the skin barrier. Ceramides are lipids that help form the skin’s barrier, they are naturally occurring but diminishing over time, and people with acne tend to have less. Ceramides are fatty acids in-between skin cells that help form the skin barrier, rebuild and restore the protective barrier, increase skin ability to retain moisture, visibly diminish signs of aging, prevent water loss from occurring, and protect the skin against pollution and chemical exposure.

Cetyl Alcohol (Emulsifying Wax)

Emulsifying wax derived from coconut.

Cholesterol

Efficiently decreased transepidermal water loss in areas of barrier-disrupted skin. Topical cholesterol reduces contact hypersensitivity by normalizing secretion of hormonally active cortisol from the skin.

Copper Peptides

Offers numerous benefits for skin health. They stimulate collagen production, promoting firmness and reducing fine lines. They aid in skin regeneration, improving texture and healing wounds. Copper peptides possess antioxidant properties, protecting against aging and environmental damage. They also have anti-inflammatory effects, soothing sensitive skin. Additionally, they enhance skin elasticity, rejuvenate the complexion, and support wound healing. Incorporating copper peptides into your skincare routine can contribute to healthier, more youthful-looking skin.

Dead Sea Minerals

The Dead Sea, located in western Asia, contains an abundance of minerals such as magnesium, sodium and potassium, which enhance your skin's ability to retain moisture, reduce inflammation, dryness, and improve your skin's overall health and appearance.

Dipeptide-5

Peptides are small, synthetic active compounds with a known mode of action proven to effectively address common signs of aging, Proven to reduce the appearance of fine lines, By stimulating collagen production, peptides give your skin the impression of being more plump, and smoother texture.

Glycerin

Also known as glycerol, is a natural compound derived from vegetable oils. Glycerin is a humectant, a type of moisturizing agent that pulls water into the outer layer of your skin from deeper levels of your skin. They’re known for their ability to retain moisture while also preserving the properties of the product at hand.

LD-panthenol (vitamin B5)

Has been proven in human clinical trials, to significantly reduce the skin's ability to retain moisture, and prevent trans epidermal water loss.variety of enzyme-catalyzed reactions that are important in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fatty acids, proteins, gluconeogenesis, sterols, steroid hormones, and porphyrins. improving stratum corneum hydration, reducing transepidermal water loss and maintaining skin softness and elasticity. Activation of fibroblast proliferation, which is of relevance in wound healing, has been observed both in vitro and in vivo.

Leucidal Liquid (All natural radish ferment preserve) Leucidal®

Derived from Leuconostoc kimchii, the bacteria that has traditionally been used to make kimchi. This product consists of a peptide that is secreted from the bacteria during the fermentation process that has been shown to have antimicrobial benefits. Challenge testing has demonstrated that 2% Leucidal® Liquid in a cream base is able to successfully inhibit microbial growth. Leucidal Liquid is odorless, non-irritating, and is an all natural preserve.

Medium Chain Triglycerides

MCTs or Medium Chain Triglycerides (of Medium Chain Fatty Acids) are fatty acids of a certain length, as the name suggests. MCT oil is an oil made up of one or more of these medium chain triglycerides, MCT oil can be extracted from coconuts.  coconut oil is 62% MCT oil. The fat found in pure MCT oil is rapidly absorbed and will not clog pores, locks in moisture and smooths the texture of the skin, ennances elasticity, fights candida, and bacterial growth. Mct oil has been shown to both reduce signs of aging and help prevent acne.

Tripeptide 5

In-vitro tests showed that tripeptide has been found to improve significantly, the appearance of any type of wrinkles. Has good skin firming, and moisturizing properties, Leads to skin compactness, reduces appearance of wrinkles, increases tonicity & firmness makes the skin look firmer, younger, and rejuvenated, and nourished Clinical studies in vitro and in vivo have shown significant skin improvement.

Phytosphingosine

Another lipid that plays a crucial role in the skin barrier, both helping to minimize the likelihood of skin irritation and keeping skin hydrated.

Think of the skin barrier as a brick wall—the cells are the bricks, and the phytosphingosine (and ceramides) make up the mortar in between. Losing that mortar and the brick wall is going to have trouble staying intact.

Pullulan (derived from fungi)

Is a polysaccharide polymer, which basically means that it’s a big molecule made up of smaller sugar molecule units. It dissolves in water and can make a thin, elastic, and moisture-absorbing film when spread on the skin that can cause an instant tightening effect. It can also be used as a thickener to get a silicone-like feel

Sclerotium Gum

A plant-derived, gel-like polysaccharide (sugar-based) ingredient that's used in cosmetics to thicken and stabilize formulas. It is considered safe as used in cosmetics, and is similar to xanthan gum

Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer

A modified form of skin-replenishing hyaluronic acid attached to a polymer structure that keeps it within skin’s uppermost layers for longer. Sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer and is not animal-derived.(1-2 million Da molecular weight) are chemically bound together to create a big, "infinite" mesh. The special HA mesh has a remarkable water-binding capacity, 5 times more than the already crazy water-binding capacity of "normal" HA. This water filled crosslinked HA and continuously delivers the bound water, so it gives skin long-term moisturizing benefits by increasing water retention significantly, proven to be non irritating the lower molecular weight HAs, and works just as effectively.

Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate

Serves an important purpose in helping product formulation. Moisturizer and anti microbial.

Squalane

Creates a protective lipid barrier on the skin by blocking the moisture from escaping leaving the skin hydrated. It also exists in human sebum at 2.4%. Squalene is an excellent moisturizer, great for boosting hydration and replacing moisture loss. Squalene’s texture is featherweight and non-greasy, and it penetrates into the skin quickly. Squalene minimizes the appearance of fine lines while also helping slow their formation, restoring healthy suppleness and flexibility without leaving an oily feel.

Xanthan Gum

Natural ingredient used as a thickening agent, texture enhancer, and to stabilize emulsions, which is a general term for mixtures of unlike substances such as oil and water.

Zinc Oxide

Known as a topical protectant, zinc oxide works like a gentle astringent that also comes with antiseptic action. One of the safest ingredients, zinc oxide can give your skin the protection it needs from harmful UV rays. It helps protect cells from being damaged, halts the ageing process, and prevents skin dryness by filtering out the harmful UV rays, Kill Antimicrobial and antibacterial properties that commonly trigger acne, reduces inflammation that also occurs as a reaction to bacteria-induced acne,  cleanse clogged pores reduces possibility for the recurrence of acne. Aside from providing effective sun protection, researches also reveal that zinc oxide facilitates the growth of new tissues, heals skin, and prevents inflammation. Zinc and other trace minerals are required by the body for collagen synthesis which is essential in the formation and repair of connective tissue.
